This MR Reiner by Superior Saddlery is one of the finest pieces in David Solum's current inventory — and the photos speak for themselves. Built by Andy Maschke on his proprietary SYMMETREES™ tree, the saddle features deep handtooled basketweave covering the horn, swell, fenders, and jockeys, with hand-carved floral medallions inset throughout. The rich tan Hermann Oak leather against the sterling silver corner plates and rear dee rings creates one of the most distinctive color combinations in the reining world.
The 15½" chocolate smooth leather seat is the preferred size for smaller-framed riders and many women competitors. The full sterling silver package — corner plates, rear dee rings, conchos, and tips — is exceptionally bright and well-maintained. The 2½" Don Orrell wood stirrups are a premium addition that would cost $300+ to add separately. The AM Superior Saddlery badge on the swells confirms the lineage.
Priced at $6,495 — well below replacement cost for a custom Superior Saddlery build. Shipping available; contact David Solum for a quote to your location.
