This Rios Bros. Roper is a fully disclosed project saddle priced accordingly. The frame, tree, leather, and hardware are all solid — full floral tooling throughout, large engraved silver corner plates on the skirt, rope-edge cantle binding, and classic round rope-edge conchos. The craftsmanship on the body of this saddle is excellent.
The issue is straightforward: the seat stitching has separated along the front edge, as clearly shown in the photos. David can source and install a new seat for an additional $300, bringing the all-in total to $795 — still exceptional value for a Rios Bros. with this level of silver and tooling. Contact David to discuss seat options and to confirm tree width fit for your horse.
